Now living in San Juan Capistrano, California, Janet is an accomplished songwriter, singer and banjo player. She also holds a doctorate in early music and teaches music history, music appreciation, and historical woodwinds in addition to playing flute, recorder, viola da gamba and historical guitars. Janet has been a good friend of ours for many years and was one of the first people we thought to ask to be a part of this project. She currently performs with Chris Stuart & Backcountry and released her first solo project, "5 South" on Backcountry Records in the summer of 2005. www.backcountryrecords.com |
